Nonreversible Temperature Sensitive Indicators
When attached directly to blood bags during refrigeration, transport and temporary storage, Safe-T-Vue® temperature-sensitive indicators provide a visual indication when blood products, plasma and RBCs have reached or exceeded 6°C or 10°C. Because they are nonreversible, Safe-T-Vue products will indicate that a higher temperature condition existed even if the temperature eventually returns to a lower level.

Safe-T-Vue 6 temperature indicators attach directly to blood bags while they are refrigerated or in temporary storage. They change colour from white to red when the blood (or other temperature-sensitive product) has reached or exceeded 6°C.
