BigChange Selects Zebra Technologies to Support Its Business Transformation and Growth Plan

BigChange users will benefit from rugged ET45 tablets and TC27 handheld mobile devices

BOURNE END, England – March 25, 2024 Zebra Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: ZBRA), a leading digital solution provider enabling businesses to intelligently connect data, assets, and people, today announced that BigChange, the UK based field service management software provider, is equipping its customers with Zebra’s modern rugged devices as part of its growth plan.

Founded in 2013, BigChange supports around 100,000 users, including 40,000 field workers across more than 2,000 companies in the UK. Using an all-in-one job management platform that manages the workflow from beginning to end for companies with a mobile workforce, the days of personal consumer phones, large paper diaries, and haphazard approaches to handling customer enquiries and jobs are a thing of the past for BigChange customers.

In collaboration with Peak Technologies, a Zebra Premier Solutions Partner, BigChange now provides Zebra rugged ET45 tablets and TC27 handheld mobile devices to thousands of companies with front-line workers in field operations, construction, utilities and maintenance. These professionals need robust tools for communication and data capture, sharing and access in demanding indoor and outdoor working environments.

The ET45 tablet and TC27 handheld have shift and multi-shift battery power, integrated standard and advanced scanning, high-resolution rear and front cameras, and Wi-Fi 6, 5G, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity. The devices feature a rugged design, IP65 (plus IP68 for the TC27) sealing, Corning Gorilla glass, and are drop and tumble resilient in hot, cold, and humid environments.   

Users leverage BigChange platform features, including CRM, job scheduling, financial management, vehicle tracking, mobile app and business intelligence to win more work, take control of their operations and deliver the best customer experiences. Equipped with Zebra rugged devices needed in the field, front-line workers have a seamless, digitised solution on and off the platform.

As part of the transformation, Peak Technologies provides managed services, including five years of software support with security updates, OS updates and patches, onboarding, mobile device management and reporting. BigChange has also invested in Zebra services to ensure they have the additional, reliable tech support they need to help drive growth.
